Cashmere gnawed on her bottom lip. “It was a month or two after the Games. Once the tour was over and they had shoved me into this house, I pleaded to stay with the rest of my family for awhile. The week I stayed at home, I forgot about everything and when my father mentioned it the following Saturday, saying I should go back to my house, I remembered,” she stated, her mind flashing back to the familiar happy week. “They are too!” she pleaded just as a toddler would. She forced her eyes open, “I am not sleepy one bit. Look.” Once the blanket fell over them, she instantly felt warmer and cuddled next to his side. “You’re a sissy,” she murmured.
